In February I took photos of some of the trees in our local kommune which had fallen victim to the widespread enthusiasm for the power saw. Felling continued through the spring, with an alley of trees at a nearby school being cut down to make way for bike racks, but there are some green shoots:

Meanwhile, trees in bags have been sighted in Vigerslev park as partial recompense for the autumn storm damage:
And Red Byens Træer reports that Copenhagen council is working on a policy for trees. So something’s stirring…
